History of FKIP UNISKA Kediri

Universitas Islam Kadiri (UNISKA) was established on June 20, 1983, by the Yayasan Bina Cendikia Muslim Pancasila (YBCMP). The foundation aimed to create an institution that would produce graduates with strong knowledge, technological skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit grounded in Islamic values.

Key Milestones:

  • 1983: UNISKA was officially founded, with the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) being one of its initial faculties.
  • 1990s: FKIP expanded its academic programs, introducing new courses and enhancing its curriculum to meet national education standards.
  • 2000s: The faculty focused on research and community service, aligning with the university’s mission to support the Tri Dharma of Higher Education (Education, Research, and Community Service).
  • 2010s: FKIP achieved significant accreditation milestones, reflecting its commitment to quality education and continuous improvement.
  • 2020s: The faculty continues to innovate in teaching methods and expand its research initiatives, aiming to produce graduates who are well-prepared for the challenges of the modern world.
